COVID-19 UPDATE 03/15/2020

Dear Residents, Family Members and Visitors,

PANDEMIC RESPONSE – COVID-19 

March 15, 2020 

We continue to feel very positive about the level of our preparedness and steps taken to reduce risks to residents and staff. 

To that end, The Highlands is requesting all residents restrict interaction with the outside community.  Excursions, which are deemed necessary, quite often are not.  We cannot prevent you from leaving, but the risk is to great. 

As of 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2020, under recommendations by the CDC (Center of Disease Control) and PA- DoH (Department of Health), no visitors will be permitted to enter The Highlands buildings.  This includes villa and Gaelsong homes. 

Additionally, no visitors will be allowed to enter Skilled Nursing and Personal Care.  This includes resident spouses which previously were permitted. 

For now, please stay home and safe.  We will continue to keep you posted on any new information and alerts.
