Dr. Nancy Hodgson, RN, PhD, FAAN, internationally recognized as a nurse expert in biobehavioral research methods for older adults with dementia, will present and discuss her research focused on the development, texting, and dissemination of care programs to support older adults with dementia and their caregivers. Dr. Hodgson has over 110 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and is co-author of the book Better Living with Dementia: Implications for Individuals, Families, Communities and Societies. She was appointed by Governor Shapiro to serve as Academic Research Representative on the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Council and is a Fellow of the American Academic of Nursing and the Gerontological Society of America.
